Goldilocks "Just Right " vest for every runner

I am a beginning runner (<1 year old) and making the transition from road racing (half marathons mostly) to long distance running. My small running belt worked for me initially, but the lack of storage, poor fit, and bounce caused me a lot of heartache. I knew it was time for an upgrade if I wanted to run longer distances and improve my training during the hot summer months. After MONTHS of research - reading blogs, vlogs, running group reviews, recommendations in running magazines, etc. - I've FINALLY narrowed it down. I was looking for a vest for running and decided on this one. And I have to say it was the BEST decision! This Nathan Vaporhowe vest may be a few years old since its original release, but it's still the tried and true runner's best choice. It's very light, with lots of pockets - only 11/12. I can hide my keys, lipstick, gas, phone (I have a large Galaxy S10+), two bottles of electrolytes, band-aids, a light jacket, pepper spray and more without taking up even half the storage space - making it great for Short and long distance running. There's also a built-in whistle and reflective elements for safety, which is a nice touch. The fabric is soft and breathable. I ran in 100+ F with just a sports bra or tank top and had no rubbing or irritation. The vest is easy to wash and dries quickly. The included bottle stays cool for an hour or two in hot weather and is very easy to fill, charge and use. The bite guard is comfortable and the snorkel has a magnetic connector to keep it close to your chest without hitting your neck or face. The fit is great IMO but I can see where it might not be the best for women with a bustier. For reference, I'm 5'4" tall, 30" chest, 33" chest and have a muscular build. I increased the size from XS to Small and was happy with that decision. The bladder is immobile and loosens it just enough for me to fully layer them so I can use them all year round! The compressed, streamlined fit makes them feel like a part of you and helps avoid throwbacks no matter how empty or full you are only con is what i found was most of the pockets are just patch pockets i wish there was more storage with velcro, buttons or zippers to keep things really secure the biggest front pockets that can hold water bottles, are the only front pockets that can fit my large phone, but in more difficult terrain I'm afraid my phone will bounce off. Pockets on the front keep my phone in place and S telle, but I plan to sew velcro on these pockets for a long time. Overall I love this vest and highly recommend it!
