I was a little afraid to buy from Amazon because I saw many reviews about fake brushes. I bought from an Etailz seller because the Sigma website says they are an authorized seller of Sigma products. The brush is of very good quality. I use it for most liquid makeups. I have washed this brush many times and some of the bristles have fallen out. This brush goes perfectly with my makeup. I wouldn't be without him. EDIT :::::::::::::::: Is this real? Yes I am sure it is. After about 6 months of use the brush started shedding terribly and then it got to the point that I couldn't use it anymore. I went to sigma.com and filed a complaint. I told them I bought it from Amazon. I provided my order number and the name of the seller. I was a bit frustrated that such an expensive brush just couldn't hold up. They responded quickly and said they would contact the seller and tell them about my problems. The next day I received an email from Amazon seller etailz and they sent me a new brush! This new brush was great, didn't shed at all and seems better put together than the previous one. I think the one I got before must have been a failure.
