I was looking for a set of fold out coffee tables for my new (but tiny) apartment and they matched the contemporary style I was looking for and were reasonably priced for what they are (please note that this rating applies). combination of black base and glass top). While not what I would call a true nesting placemat, I can nest them by removing the jar from the large table, inserting the smaller one, and then replacing the jar with a large one, which seems like a simple process for even one person, as these tables are small (positive for me as I live alone and wanted a small table to fit my space). I love how the smaller table allows me to display larger items while still having enough space to place other items on the larger table. As for feedback on how small the tables are - a little measuring and marking with a few pieces of tape on the floor helps visualize exactly how your space will look. I'm deducting a star in my rating because the small glass lid slipped during delivery, but fortunately it arrived undamaged. The oversized top arrived with a light scratch, 5-7 inches long, but given the price and my intention of not keeping this item for more than a few years, I didn't feel it was damaged enough to warrant the hassle of shipping it endure . return.
