I bought these specifically so I no longer have to use disposable cotton pads so I was willing to make some sacrifices compared to what I'm used to. I am pleased to report that all of these concerns have been addressed. unreasonable! The pads are soft. The pads are large, twice the size of the cotton pads I bought at Walmart. The pads can be used multiple times before they need to be washed (provided you haven't used them on dirty makeup or similar. Toner or cleanser only, they can be used MULTIPLE TIMES before they get so dirty they should have been erased have to ). Pads are easy to wash/dry with or without a mesh bag. The pads have the right texture to provide adequate exfoliation without irritating the skin. So far I can't find any disadvantages. Me and my three girls use and love them all. Highly recommended.
