I was really hoping this would be the solution for brown guacamole but the lid was difficult to slide open. Whenever I tried it, it would tilt to one side or the other and then the guacamole would get stuck in the padding surrounding it. I would clean the guac and try again but it kept happening over and over again. My husband was able to push it straight down, but it didn't go as deep as we wanted: if you're only making a small batch of guacamole, it won't go deep enough to touch the top. I also tried it for storing hummus as I make more hummus but again had trouble with the lid tipping when the hummus got onto the liner. Concluded that the constant cleaning and replanting of the lid just wasn't worth it.
