This pack is light enough and comfortable. It is a little small for my needs but proper packing might fix that problem. I keep a tent, sleeping bag, inflatable mattress and pillow in my pack. They take up almost all the room. The pack is fairly easy to use, but I have found that the chest buckles slip even though they are properly fed through the buckle. I find that I have to tie the ends of the chest strap ends into figure eight knots to keep them from slipping after a few minutes. For the price it seems to be good purchase for newbies like me.
