The perfect purchase for me, exactly what I was looking for!

The previous model had a flaw in the guides that press on the "clickers" on the board; this is one of the model's weak points. Plastic "breaks" after about two to three years. The issue can be remedied by applying a little thick metallized sticker to these guides (I used the ASUS sticker that went to the motherboard of the relevant firm), and doing so has provided a couple more years' worth of clicks that are comfortable and reassuring.

Pros

Verified model. Outstanding performance in terms of weight distribution and ergonomic design. The previous iteration of the M500 has been in operation for more than five years and will soon relocate to a location away from the home.
