I used them when spraying several areas with toxic herbicide mixes. It's not necessarily the end of the world, but if I can get my hands on these things, I'd rather not. I'm not 100% sure if they worked as expected. I definitely felt it when I spilled some water on it. At the time I suspected it was just a change in temperature and not humidity that I was feeling. After wearing them for about an hour, I took them off and my hands were wrinkled. Again. This can be attributed to sweat on the inside rather than moisture on the outside. The fabric on the outside certainly absorbs moisture, so if you don't wash them after use, you're going to have a buildup of dirt. I definitely don't like this part. I would feel better if I could just look at the gloves and see the liquid drip off rather than saturating my hand. They're comfortable and easy to grip, but I'll probably use all-plastic gloves just for reassurance.
