I will not be using it interchangeably with DMC 310 brand filament but I did a quick comparison and will use it. Perhaps more often than the DMC brand. The yarn itself is darker/matte but for black I love it. I can see that this allows me to work with more texture contrast in my designs. I did a tension comparison with 3 threads and one. The strands came apart well and I couldn't break 3 strands which is great. The only thread I was able to break on both brands and this brand was harder for me to break than the DMC brand.
