Just received, unboxed, put in 2 AA batteries, connected to my 2014 MacBookPro Retina, steermouse opened, buttons configured for specific functions in ProTools, started Pro Tools and everything works. When the computer goes to sleep, this bluetooth mouse wakes it up. For what I do (ProTools), this inexpensive mouse is BETTER than the MX Master Bluetooth mouse it replaces. Specific issue: MX Master could not be programmed to right click and press "F7" when connected via Bluetooth. But this inexpensive TeckNet does what I need. MX Master (8 times more expensive) not. I also really like the DPI switch, which allows you to fine-tune the controls on the fly. Like I said I just got it, if it dies next month I will come back and update this review. But now it's great and I just wanted to let everyone know that this mouse is good, there was a lot to choose from and other people's feedback was very helpful. (By the way, if you use a Mac, Steermouse is a must-have utility for me to program and control all my mice with special software features.) [Update] A few months later I came back to buy two more of these. Great mouse, great price, no problems, haven't had to change the battery yet.
