I've used them on several sewing projects to make things like zippers or attach them to the side of a wallet so I can attach a cord. The diameter is perfect and they are strong as the rings wrap twice which I found to be SUPER important (I bought these after making the mistake of ordering another ring that didn't wrap twice so they wrap themselves broke almost immediately on the lighter projects )!
