Review on Purina Friskies Gravy Wet Cat Food; Prime Filets With Chicken - (24) 5.5 oz. Cans: Delicious and Nutritious Feline Meal by Heidi Ward

The cat likes it but there is no quality control

The quality is really different. It's almost the only wet food our cat eats, so we get plenty of it. And I mean a lot. He's a big cat. Sometimes all the jars in the package are fine, and sometimes it seems that each jar in the box is only half full. It affects the weight of the box so I don't understand why it isn't noticed. "Fillet" is usually about the same consistency, although sometimes it has a little more "gravy" than others. Cheap fountain pen? I do not know. According to the feeding instructions on the can, our cat should eat almost four cans a day. Four banks! No, he doesn't eat that much. Higher protein cats require less food per pound of cat weight, but again, they don't eat more. Cats are pretty stubborn little animals. We have found that he prefers this wet food as it is very different in texture to the usual ground venom 'pie'. It's like shredded chicken in gravy, just a different color. It smells like a strong or spoiled tuna/chicken mix to me, but the smell almost makes my husband sick. Lots of additions to please the kitty I'm sure. Overall, this keeps the house cat fed and happy.
