8BitDo's reputation in the controller market is well known and very positive. My experience confirms this. Great style, comfortable SNES-style controllers with much-needed modern features. I've used the controllers for a variety of playstyles and haven't had a single issue with them. I love how they feel and handle and they definitely have a form factor that I appreciate. I would definitely recommend this to anyone interested in the retro gaming community for use with RetroPie, and even modern games where they do well too! One thing to keep in mind when purchasing for use in modern PC gaming is that the controller's button layout is Nintendo-style, while in modern PC gaming the preferred style is Xbox-style, so you must just be aware of it. However, most people know the Xbox layout by heart, so tapping the buttons on the controller itself shouldn't pose much of a problem.
