Review on Panasonic ER131 clipping machine, white/grey by Agata Wydra ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I expected mediocre quality, but it was a pleasant surprise.

Over a year has passed since the machine was first put into service. It does an excellent job of accomplishing its mission, which is to keep a short hairstyle one to two times per week. On the other hand, there are certain drawbacks. Ni-Cd batteries have a "memory effect," which means they need to be totally discharged before use. This naturally takes place while you are getting your hair cut, but the lengthy charger cord makes it possible for you to complete the haircut with minimal disruption. Regrettably, there is no evidence to suggest that the charge has been finished. The design of the "oiler" is flawed, as it is difficult for oil to trickle properly into the correct place on the cutting block. But, in general, the machine is quite good for home haircuts; there are "no complaints."

Pros
  • A very nice haircut. Costs not too much money overall. Simple to take care of. A lengthy cable for the memory. A selection of different nozzles.
Cons
  • Nickel–cadmium battery. There is no sign that the charge is complete. Inconvenient "butter".
