I live in an area where the winters are dark and rainy, so my daily walks in the country make me nervous - cars whiz by on the way to town and sometimes there are no sidewalks. Lanterns are part of my hiking gear: a safety vest, and these lanterns are attached to different parts of my clothing or even to my arms, bags or shoes. They are incredibly easy to use. One button toggles between four modes: steady light, fast blinking, slow blinking, off. They come with about five extra batteries. Mistake? Actually only one thing: To change the battery, you have to open it. And screws to open the headlights, the size of an ant. But this package also includes two small screwdrivers. TIP: While doing this, sit down and spread out some paper towels so the screws don't bounce off a hard table or counter when you loosen them. Excellent value for money and quality.
