My baby HATES brushing his teeth. It changed the rules of the game for us. She loves the design and likes to use it every day. This made the process much easier and smoother for us. This is great for anyone with a toddler who wants to be independent - they can brush their teeth on their own and I can be assured that their teeth will still be brushed well. On the other hand, I don't use foaming toothpaste with this one. I use their regular toothpaste (we use Tom's Flouride Free for reference). I squirt up and down a little and it works just as well. The only downside we found was that the mouthpiece came off the handle several times while she was using it (but to be honest we've had it for a long time and may need to be replaced soon).
