These shocks lowered the rear of the bike about 1 1/2 inches which was exactly what I was looking for. I installed them in about 30-45 minutes. I adjusted the damper spring tension. or sag when me and my girlfriend are both on the bike and the ride is ok considering you gave up some travel to lower the bike. being on a bike I've ridden them about 100 miles and so far I'm happy with them and they work well.
