Lots of usable space
I was very happy with the amount of space there was for mixing colors as well as laying colors out to have easy access to them when in the middle of a project. The hole for my thumb was easy to use and felt good on my hand.The teacher for the class I was taking did not like it, but for a beginner it works really well. I even took it with me to a ceramics painting place and used it. All paints I have used it with have washed off with cold water and a sponge no mater how dark the color.
