Suitable for watching movies on the fly in

I bought this for Halloween scenes. Lumens seem to be the most exaggerated metrics sellers use to trick you into thinking you're getting a good deal. You just don't get a quality home theater projector at this price point. You want all the lights off for a good view. I took this campsite and installed a projector tarp and we watched a movie. My kids installed it in the room when friends were sleeping watching it on the ceiling! All entries worked great. I had the scenes on the micro SD card and they played without any problems. All of these cheap players seem to use the same operating system, which is why the on-screen menus look the same on different devices. You can change the settings using the buttons on the player. You don't have to rely solely on the remote control. One great feature was that during playback, the popup menu had a feature that allowed you to set the start and end points of the video file. This way you can repeat the video even if it doesn't go black. However, these points would have to be reset each time the device was switched on, there was no memory function. There are also options to repeat a single video file or play a series of videos in a folder. The focus ring worked well and there is vertical keystone correction, but it's very limited. There is no keystone correction at all. Bluetooth worked great. I plugged in speakers and headphones and the sound came through with no issues. However, you should disable Bluetooth when not in use as it will continue to search and try to connect to the devices it finds, causing the audio to stutter. The built-in speaker worked, but don't expect loud surround sound. Please be careful! If you use an HDMI cable and hear no sound. Go into the DVD or Blueray player's menu and change the sound setting. The video projector does not decode Dolby Surround audio. Change the audio setting to simple stereo audio. And when playing a disc, movies also have sound menus that you need to change. Mains powered, no batteries. The cord is about 6 feet long with the power adapter right in the middle. So you only have 3 feet to work before the power supply hangs in the air and puts pressure on the connector to the player. You will need an extension cord that will most likely accommodate the power plug and not weigh it down. Great player at a good price.
