I bought this product for my iPad Pro 9.7 after my favorite case started cracking badly and while this product is ok I wish I had gone with something else. I love the folio style of this case, although it might be too bulky for some others. The Apple Pencil Tray is flexible and allows me to effortlessly fit my pencil with cap holder in the space. However, I don't think this case would have been as forgiving for someone holding a pencil in a pencil grip. I thought the inkwell was a really sweet touch. Not necessarily something everyone needs, but a great stylistic addition. On a case without a keyboard, the bezel has gaps and ridges that you wouldn't expect. This may be because it is made at different angles for you to place this case. And I really appreciate the different angles of this case, but the grooves for folding the case feel too shallow and sometimes my iPad flaps around. There's one corner that's particularly good, and that's the corner with the case flipped up and the pen holder on top, as shown in my drawing. It's actually a very solid corner and allowed me to type on my iPad using the onscreen keyboard without worrying about it flopping, even when using it on my lap. If you're used to taking the lid off and holding your iPad like a book, the pen holder can make it a bit awkward as it makes the notebook a bit wider, and the extra width can make it feel weird when you do it. They're used to holding it a certain way. It's not the worst purchase I've made. It does what it's supposed to, but I'm sure there are much better alternatives out there.
