This SONGMICS 5 tier storage rack was fairly easy to assemble. The hardest part is tracing the corners of the bottom shelf around the posts. I was able to turn the bottom shelf upside down and slide four bars through it. I pushed the bars upside down against the shelf before turning them over. After turning around and planting my feet on the floor, I was able to bang on the corners of the shelf. Since the bottom shelf is attached to the 4 support posts, the rest of the assembly process is very easy. Paper instructions are better than most instructions. It is a 19 page guide with very detailed diagrams/images. Please remember to attach the black pieces "up" and so that the grooves match. When the grooves line up properly, you will hear them click into place. These parts must be in the same plane as the corners of the shelves will sit on these black parts. Total 3 sets of poles (12 total, 4 lower with legs, 4 middle, 4 upper with smooth tip) but 5 shelves. Therefore, you need to decide how you want to separate each shelf. I decided to make the fourth tallest shelf shorter than the others. The length and width measurements in the listing include the width of the posts. So if you subtract the shelves from the length and width, the shelves are actually 21.5 inches by 9.75 inches. This is the largest box size that will fit squarely on the shelf without leaning over or sitting on the edge of the shelf. Please note that each shelf is rated for 44 lbs only. Hooks come in handy when you want to hang something on the side. It comes with a ROPS kit that allows the shelf to be wall mounted/fixed. I have decided not to use the anchor until I know where I want to permanently store the shelves. The legs are adjustable at the bottom. You simply turn the dial to raise/lower your foot to eliminate shaky sides. It's also great that you have five sheets of plastic to put on each shelf. This gives you the option of using either the rack's metal base or a smooth surface. Hooks, plastic sheeting, and a dowel are all very nice accessories, even if you don't get to use them right away. You can use this shelf in almost any room. The metal shelves and shelves appear to be very durable. All in all a good product that is easy to assemble. This shelf is made in China and sold on Revain by a Chinese company.
