Not sure if this beautiful bracelet handmade in India is real turquoise. It is very light and I would expect a real turquoise stone to be heavier. I also expect real turquoise jewelry to be slightly more expensive than this item. But since I'm not sure, I'll base my review on the look of the bracelet and not the authenticity of its components. This bracelet is actually five strands or bracelets on an elastic cord. The beads themselves are small, square, and vary in color, and each is separated by rings of silver-tone metal wire. This bracelet set has a primitive or rustic, maybe unpolished look that I like, but it's also very pretty. Since there are actually five strands, you can wear them all or just a few at a time, or even split them between your hands. They can be worn for certain more elegant occasions, but I personally find these bracelets best suited for everyday wear, although they can certainly be worn to work as well. They are easy to put on and take off and fit almost any wrist with an elastic cord. This set makes a very good gift and even comes in a golden fabric gift bag with "RICHERA" printed on it.
