Either there is no such thing as a "cooling blanket", or they only work for some people, or only under certain atmospheric conditions. This is the second one I've gotten this month, and there is absolutely nothing that makes them any more "cooling" than any other blanket. This one is currently the coolest blanket I have simply because it's thinner and lighter than any other blanket I have.While I love the feel of some bamboo cotton clothing I have, the texture of this blanket seems odd to me for a blanket. In fact, if I didn't know what it was, I would guess it was a thin tablecloth. I'll probably end up giving it to the cats to use, but none of them will lie down on the first "cooling" blanket I got, and they aren't picky cats about what they sleep on. Hopefully, they'll use this one.
