Instant hot water

Very handy when you get hot water frequently. We used to boil water in the morning, pour it into a coffee thermos that kept it hot all day. Now we can get hot water whenever we want. Fill my French Press with coffee faster than with Keurig every time. It gets 5 stars because it does what it says on the tin and has a good faucet, safety feature for hot and works with no issues but it still can. better. Cons Fun Facts: It's easy to install if you know a little about plumbing and already have electricity to hook it up to. Cons: Poor insulation, power consumption will go down a lot with some insulation, I've heard it heats up about once an hour. It's warm to the touch, like a coffee mug, so it radiates quite a bit of heat. Waste heat warms the house in winter, but is not good for summer. The packaging says this is the equivalent of a 40 watt lightbulb, but be aware that this is like running a 40 watt lightbulb all day as it toggles 1000 watts on and off. If it had some sort of vacuum insulation, like the coffee thermos we've used in the past, hot water all day would be the equivalent of turning on a 40-watt lightbulb for an hour instead of a day. it's back An understandable safety feature, but worth mentioning. Note that I wanted to put it on a timer to only turn it on in the morning, when it's going to be used the most, and fill the thermos for the rest of the day. Heats water fairly quickly if you forget to turn it on it's a bit noisy. Makes a hissing sound when heated. Not bad, but you can hear it.
