So far my overall impression is very good. I ordered a large as all my shirts are a size larger for that extra space. I don't like it when my clothes feel tight or baggy. It just fits. It's a little longer than I expected, about 5 inches below my waist, but I'm fine with that. The sleeves are long, which I like. They extend past my arms so I don't have to wear gloves or use bags and can easily slide my arms out if needed. It wasn't cold yet, but it warmed me up. When I first picked it up I felt it had some weight but it wasn't bulky. The entire jacket has a thermal lining and the sleeves have a nylon layer covering the thermal lining. Hand pockets could be better. There's a nylon pocket between the flannel shell and the thermal pad, but it's large enough to hold cuffs for extra insulation. The only things I don't like are the buttons and the side/hand pocket location. I would like buttons. If I lose a button it can be replaced, but if I lose the latch it creates a hole. I think the pockets should be moved to the front. They are almost right by your side. You have to move your hands further back to get them in. They should be closer to the front of your abdomen. Aside from a few things that don't matter to me, I'm glad I finally decided to buy it. I hope it lasts a long time without problems.
