Table works as advertised *if* you get a good one. Mine arrived with all components seemingly intact. There was no serious damage to the outside of the box and the top of the chipboard laminate, cracks or anything like that. The problem occurred during assembly. As it turned out, the factory made a mistake and welded a two-legged steel cross member to one of the sides that didn't have pre-drilled screw holes for attaching the top laminate. Upon closer inspection, it turned out that they had acted wrongly. They welded a cross member from another table below to the top of this table. So there were two holes in the middle for attaching the bottom metal tube, but there were no holes for attaching the last two screws that secure the top. I considered sending it back but to be honest I was too tired and as their returns policy is not very generous I decided to push through as I would have to take it to a UPS pickup point which is an issue with our current Covid -19 is . 19 protection orders during a pandemic. If they hadn't made a welding mistake and left it outside the factory door I would have given it 4 stars because it looks beautiful. It also has a lot of surface area on top, but that doesn't matter if the thing isn't assembled properly.
