I have owned a bread bin for two years. I get a lot of compliments on it because it's so cute. What bothered me the most was the practicality of having to fit all the bread and even a few random bags of chips from time to time. It goes with everything, it's huge! Now here's the problem. Since it is used daily by a family of 5, the top is removed several times a day. A year later the handle just broke off completely. Not that it's screwed on, we couldn't fix it. We've been using it without a handle for a year and now I'm looking for a bread bin with a lid. If you have a large family, be aware that this may not last long.
