We bought these curtains for our son as a gift for his 8th birthday - renovation in the room. I wouldn't advertise them as blackout curtains because they absolutely aren't. However, they darken the room and do the job we needed. The colors are vibrant and look great against the light blue walls in my son's room. The bonus is that the colors matched the color of the duvet that was already on his bed, which is why we bought it. Our little one loves them and with all the other things we changed in his room it looks great! These curtains are always the eye-catcher when you enter your room. You look great!
