I had a 75mm VESA mount and a 100mm VESA monitor, so I needed an adapter. After looking at everything here, I realized that the benefit of the quick-release mechanism was worth the extra few bucks. I also expected high quality from Ergotron. I was not disappointed. Supplied with all necessary mounting screws and stands. High-quality materials. Completely happy. Note that the Revain photo here (tabs down) is upside down. The square part attaches to your monitor/tv and the x-shaped part attaches to your existing mount WITH RAISED CLAMPS! It's a lot easier than trying to get someone to hold your monitor by trying to screw a mount to the back. I will buy more of these as my needs warrant.
