I'm amazed these pants fit! I'm short (5ft 3in, about 115lbs) and a bit pear shaped so I was worried these pants wouldn't fit me. Luckily, other brands have a low rise and are too tight in the hips and thighs. What I like about these pants: They sit on the waist instead of the hips, which is more comfortable and flattering for my figure. A simple belt helped me adjust my waist to fit perfectly. They fit exactly on the hips and thighs, not bulging or constricted. The fabric is strong yet light so it drapes beautifully; she reaches for it too - hooray! They have full length pockets on the sides, not those flat women's pockets that are often found with jeans etc. The zippers on the legs are marked with the letters "R” and "L” so the right and left leg don't get mixed up too. I'm going to the Grand Canyon so I'll see how well they work. If there are problems I will update the rating but for now I am very satisfied.
