Thin, probably only suitable for light items
I bought this item to store beads but they are too heavy. I tried to pick it up by the handle, as soon as I put all the beads in, the handle broke off, scattering all the beads around my kitchen. While my new kittens loved it, I wasn't a huge fan, so if you're storing lightweight items like string or maybe small craft pompoms or whatever, this should be perfect. But definitely not for pearls.
