Bought this monitor as a second monitor. I've never used it to play games or anything just to search the web while fiddling with the home screen. With so little use, this monitor didn't last a year before blowing out. I heard something like a knock inside and it stopped working. I would be very cautious about buying this monitor if you intend to use it as your main monitor.
