Perfect size and great features for on the go

We bought this backpack for a trip to Uganda and used it to track down gorillas, chimpanzees and golden monkeys in the cool jungle for a more traditional car safari. Very comfortable, padded shoulder and hip straps make it easy to hike for hours, even with a fully loaded backpack. For reference, we have a Nikon D500 with a Nikon 18-300mm lens attached, a Sigma Contemporary 150-600mm lens, a Canon T3i with a Canon 18-55mm lens attached, a Canon 75-300mm lens and various accessories such as a System camera clips, rain cover (supplied with backpack), camera rain cover, cleaning products, manuals, extra lens caps and filters, laptop, snacks. The thing was pretty heavy when fully loaded with our gear, but it worked just fine. The camera compartment that opens on the back is ingenious, as is the ability to rotate and open the backpack to access gear without having to take it off. - it worked out great for us. Two large water bottle pockets were great for carrying lots of water on our hikes, and a couple of loops on the front came in handy for attaching things like headphone pouches and the like during airport transfers. It was the perfect size for our needs as hobby riders, especially as it's a good size for air travel. Although expensive, it is very well made and has many nice features that make it more than worth the price.
