Good size hammock, didn't run out right away under my big big probably half maine coon boy. Should be more than enough for my other normal sized cats. The fleece is really soft and pleasant to the touch, not too thick so as not to get too hot. It's pretty easy to install, the only thing you might need is some kind of stopper or hook if your only option is to try and place it on a vertical pole with no crossbar (kind of a problem with those, but Some include either a large rubber band to form a stopper or a bungee cord to form a loop and buckle up). My cats are really stupid so they're still a bit insecure/afraid of it even though it's been a while but I really think they're outliers at this. It seems most cats would agree with that. I've known for a long time that when we had one for our ferret, he had it. He hoped and loved it immediately.
