Review on 🎧 Yinyoo KZ ZSX 5BA 1DD Over Ear Earbuds: Superior Noise Cancelling Hybrid Headphones with Balanced Armature Dynamic Driver (Black, Wired, No Mic) by Brittany Reed

First impressions. Didn't get nervous.

With Iphone 6, Spodify. Comply tips, standard cables. Nothing special. I was looking for the best bass because I'm a bassist. No, I don't want to boost the bass on the EQ to achieve this. My first impression was that I grabbed the EQ to get rid of that nasty jump from 2k to 4k. Bass is better than AS10 or ZS10 Pro. But I like the ZS10 Pro's sound signature, including the bass. I don't hear this wrong balance between the frequency spectrum on the Pro. I wanted to love AS10 and ZS7. Read great reviews on both, but we all hear things differently. Maybe these devices need a week break with music and pink noise? Not sure. I haven't taken any breaks with the ZS10 Pro and it's acceptable and comfortable on my ears. True, the ZS7 has better bass and a good soundstage. But the high-end in its original state sounds harsh when switched on. It also sounds a bit mp3'ish. (Not the low-end - hello-end.) It's hard to explain - it's not a smooth hello-end. You can listen at a comfortable volume, turn the level up a click and get hit by that annoying high end that I can't quite put my finger on. It looks like 2k, 4k, 6k and 8k are narrow gain by design. Something cheap sounds in high end. Finally, I find that there is a little lack of mids. I have to review that a bit. I'm basing my comments on the ZS10 Pro's preferred sound. We're hoping the pink color softens this hello a little. I doubt it. I will update this in a few weeks. Most likely the AS10 will be brought back and if the 7 doesn't improve I'll just dump the ZS10 Pro and be done with it. If you want more bass, try these out. Everyone hears differently, you can't base your purchase solely on someone else's review. It's like a car, you have to test them. At low volumes, I have no particular problems with this device. Compared to the ZS10 Pro and these Pros, it is more comfortable. After an hour of use, they hurt my ears a bit. I can't imagine how I will feel in 2 hours. I have a feeling the cable that comes with the Pro is better. What I like about the ZS7 cable is the transparent tube that wraps around the ear. It seems firmer than the pro cable. Not bad for $50. It just doesn't fit my ears that well.
