Looks like leather, feels like leather and most importantly smells like leather as soon as you open the box. I've only had this belt for a week, but I have no reason to believe it won't last almost forever. It's not the crap you get with a lot of other "leather" belts; That's the real deal. The belt is held in place by removable rivets and not by seams that always burst at the worst possible moment. I don't think you will be disappointed, especially at this price point.
