The original darts that came with the dartboard itself are lighter, which is normal, but they are also made from cheap material which means the ends of the rods that hold the flights broke after a few landings on Earth. This was the end of their flights unless I bought replacement shafts. That's why I bought these Centaur darts. From time to time I hit the metal rings on the dartboards and the darts bounce off pretty hard and fall behind a small mat that is spread out to catch them. So far, so good. The waves cracked and none broke. For that reason alone, I couldn't be happier with this purchase. The darts come in a nifty little storage box and the included rule book and 9 popular dart games make everything really handy.
