I bought this to put on an arched window where I didn’t have blinds. My bedroom window is east facing so when the sun comes up I get it in full force, which I don’t love on my days off work, when I want to sleep in. I got the narrower one because I figured I could just piece it together to cover the full window but I just left the small gap so it didn’t completely make my room like the depths of hell. ;) but if I decide I want that covered later on it will be easy to cut a small piece out from the remaining roll. It was so easy to install, I got a window cling installation kit from Gila and that made it even easier! Definitely worth the money! Also I’m sure it will help keep my room cooler, because it does get hotter than the rest of the house. I added a before and after picture so you can see how much light it blocks out!
