Update - I used a smaller size but very comfortable. Very soft rubber, stays in place and the sound is great. I can still hear my surroundings but I don't care, I want to be able to walk and still hear cars. I am satisfied with the comfort, it does not hurt after a few minutes as if it restores my ear. The on/off switch isn't as easy as I'd like, but it's better than being overly sensitive. very satisfied tomorrow we'll see how well they keep the ip working but until they move and fall out I'm chasing a 3 and 6 year old who listens to audio books a lot. I don't know anything about life force either. I will give it to my sister. They are very difficult to charge it's so frustrating that I put them in the charger and never charge them! Leaving them on the charger for hours or overnight is so frustrating and the battery lasts 10 seconds when I force it to charge they last 45 minutes maybe an hour.
