We bought this for my elderly mother who lives with us so she can alert us if she needs help at night while we sleep. I am satisfied with the product as it works exactly as I intended. Light! We placed one button in her room and one in her bathroom. We plugged the receiver into an outlet in our bedroom. Works perfectly! However, the item we received was used. My first thought was that the box had been ripped open and sealed with tape. Then, upon opening, there was a sticky backing on the buttons and greasy fingerprints all over the place. Apparently we received a return. I was a bit concerned when I ordered 'new' and got 'used' when we were in the middle of a pandemic. I disinfected everything so I give one star.
