I find it a bit flimsy and I don't see it being warmer than any other kennel pillow on the market. but my dog really loves it. I keep her kennel open in the living room and she often rests there rather than in her other bed or on the couch with me. Of course, that same dog will be lying face down on his back in his other bed, his buttocks lifted and his head tilted at a 90 degree angle over the edge of the bed. As such, their comfort recommendation should probably be taken with a grain of salt.
