Cats love it, especially kittens!
I have bought many of these over the years and kittens and cats seem to like them. The ball is arranged in a circular track so the cats can't knock it over or knock it out, but if you have fingers like their humans, it's easy to pull the ball out when needed. They also seem to like the catnip it comes with more than other catnips. The only problem you might have with catnip is that the ball will slow down or not roll when it hits the lane, so it needs to be wiped off with a damp paper towel.
