I just bought them this week. I've occasionally worked over several days to attach all of these fairy lights to my 9 foot tree. Now most of my lights are off. It wasn't cool. Finally we solved the problem. The two bulbs were just bare wires and shorted out when the two wires touched. They didn't have the shrink wrap that other flashlights have. We carefully separated the two wires that connect to the core with electrical tape and then rolled them back together. Does it make sense? I hope to be able to help someone else with this problem. Now I'm worried if this strand will hold up if it's already had this problem. You look good. I like the ability to change the color to warm white. I was hoping there would be a smooth flickering with only white light on all available modes, but there isn't. You still look beautiful. The adjustable brightness is also positive. I hope it lasts.
