No brighter than Sylvania base
The bulbs I replaced are Sylvania base only, probably half the price considering I went back to Sylvania base, that should be a clue be on how poorly they perform compared to you. They weren't even that bright. This has nothing to do with the "brightness" factor, I hid my lows so I knew the halogen wouldn't compete in that category. I was looking for more brightness than what I was replacing. They claim "150% brighter", which I'm sure compares to the standard halogen bulb I replaced, so I don't think I was wrong in thinking I would see a noticeable difference. But I got the base Sylvanias back, although now I'm stuck with them and a waste of money because the Sylvania is lighter.
