The purchase is definitely worth it!

We bought a SlumberPod for a trip to Disneyland where our family of 5 stayed in the same hotel room. Our little one is used to sleeping in his room in complete darkness, so we were very happy to have found this solution. SlumberPod worked great for our little one. It's advertised as a blackout canopy and that's exactly what you need. Even next to a window where the sun is shining, this thing is as opaque as a wall. We even used it while spending the day in the mountains and it blocks the sun just as well outside as it does inside. The fan hole works really well and the baby monitor cover ensures we can see our little one while he sleeps. The only thing we didn't like about the SlumberPod is that the baby monitor's body is made of transparent plastic, which means it doesn't let air through. Our baby monitor has a thermometer, and because it couldn't breathe in its case, the heat generated by the monitor when it was plugged in gave inaccurate readings of the temperature inside the SlumberPod. On that first night of use we were very concerned at reading temperatures inside the module approaching 90 degrees, but we quickly realized that the monitor in the case was just overheating and the fan blowing air into the module was actually doing a good job performs . Stay cool. I may decide to do some DIY modifications to solve this problem. Other than that, it's a great product that has been approved by our family.

Pros
  • Looking forward to it
Cons
