I wanted gloves that I didn't have to open and close. They fit and take off pretty well and stay in place. I was driving down a lonely track and a single branch from a wire broom caught in the back of my gloves. I've attached a picture and you can see it's really good. I was expecting them to be a bit stiffer. I just used a lighter to burn off the thread that pulled out so it wouldn't unravel again. The gloves don't have proper padding but I only use them to prevent blisters and maintain grip. The part you wipe your face with may be softer, but it's good enough. I also want the grip on the index and middle fingers to reach further down. I'm pretty hard on these gloves to try and share what might be the deciding factor for those looking to buy them. Depending on how long they last, I might replace them with others from the same pair if they get too torn.
