After spending so much time comparing purchases I felt it deserved a review when it arrived. I am pleasantly surprised by several characteristics: its volume, its light weight and its shape retention when empty. (Picture: 1/3, next to chair and backpack for scale.) Construction: Think of a paper shopping bag. Open it. Then add a plastic spacer around the top (at the hole). That's basically what we have. The top closure is in two halves, which allows you to fold the bag in different ways - handy if you don't want your guests to see dirty clothes. Only the fabric is plastic waterproof, like a raincoat. . I do not like it; This makes the car feel "cheap". But it is functional and looks good. (I think I've seen people push bags like this onto shopping carts - that's just the kind of stuff.) I bought this to replace https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FYQMLV7 the one next to the coping was torn after a few years. I was hoping for an increase in elegance (as far as it goes in a laundry bag). I'm not sure I succeeded, but on the plus side I like that this one is opaque. This one costs 3-4 times more; maybe it will take much longer.
