Nowhere in the reviews or product information was it mentioned that a Windows 2000/XP/Windows7 computer is required. I use a MacBook laptop for all my photography work. Return in an hour. Short rating (used): Well packaged. Small learning books are available in 6 languages. The writing and illustrations are so tiny I used my 300 lens reading glasses. This was to replace my beloved Olympus which stopped working. Now that Olympus is out of business I was hoping this would be a replacement. It's much heavier than the digital Olympus, which also has video capabilities. It does not work directly with the computer's memory. An SB card is required to operate this camera. Although it is likely made in China, there is NO manufacturer's mark or contact information. What looks good right out of the box: Easy setup. The optional zoom lens looks promising. The large screen gives a good idea of the captured photo/video. But without uploading photos from SD card to my MacBook, what's the use?
