Review on Boraam Sonoma Wire-Brush Bench, Storm Gray by Junior Andreano

Great Bench For The Money

I like this bench. It gets a solid 4 stars, and I only deducted one star because it came scratched at the top. It doesn’t bother me enough to return it - I did not buy this as a heritage piece - but it would seem to me that it’s probably going to scratch pretty easily. I assembled it with a crawling baby underfoot in maybe 20 minutes. The color is interesting. I don’t know how they call it "driftwood gray”. It’s brown with a grayish tinge. I was expecting it, but only because I read the reviews. I like the color a lot. But I’m including pics of it on my slightly cherry tinged medium brown floors against my "greige” sofa (Pottery Barn Silver Taupe, specifically) next to my Chanasya faux fur throw in gray. I think it will read a little bit more brown once I have my new grayish-white floors installed, but again, it was what I was expecting after reading the reviews. Oh, and just for fun I took a pic of it with a piece of actual driftwood on top - not the same color but in fairness the same color family! Bench feels sturdy and my 6’2” 250 lbs husband doesn’t feel like he’s going to collapse it or won’t fit on it, though of course it’s a hard bench and it won’t feel as good as an upholstered cushion, but it’s infinitely more cat friendly. Solid buy.
