I was worried it wouldn't be strong enough to use as a footstool but it's very nicely designed. It was easy to put together and looked great in the room. I also thought it might not be very well made for the price, but it's actually quite a nice, classy linen fabric. It has no flaws and is perfect for my purposes. It's lower than some footstools, which is perfect for my chair, but it might not be big enough for a taller chair to function as a footstool. Also, it doesn't have as much storage space as the larger ones, so check the size to see if it fits your needs. For me it is perfect and I can only recommend this article. I actually only went online to buy another one.
